So not to bore you.....

And to go more than two posts without pictures of our little one, I will fulfill the intended purpose of this blog here.

Jonathan has actually been sick for the last almost week I guess. It started last Tuesday, he was exhausted!!! Literally slept all day! He woke at 7:30 - I fed him, laid him back down and slept until 12:30 when I finally woke him up. Didn't want to eat, was actually quite fussy. I thought maybe getting him out of the house would help and wake him up. Nope. I took him to the post office, Target and Jo-ann's and each place he would sit in the cart and just lean back and stare off into space. Of course, people thought I had this great well behaved child - hardly! ;) I have never seen him so out of it, and really almost lethargic - it was weird.

Tuesday's Shopping - so not with it

My normal happy shopper!
Yes, I called the dr. I'm sure she thought I was crazy saying he was sleeping too much - but so uncharacteristic of my son. She thought maybe he had a virus of some sort, if not better in am, bring him in. Well, Wed he was perfectly happy and normal again, thurs am the same, but thurs afternoon we went downhill and have been up and down on fever, fussiness, happiness, etc. since then. :( So, that all in all has made for a few long days here, but we are getting through and throughout, thankfully we have had some bright spots. :) That is what these pictures are from.

Saturday night I put him to bed early - he was exhausted and hadn't had a nap that day at all! But about two hours after going down he woke up crying and at points screaming. So, I got him up. Jeremy had gone to the gym, so it was just the two of us. I thought, well, maybe he's hungry, and sat him on the counter and gave him a piece of bread, of which he thought was the greatest thing, and thoroughly enjoyed that piece. And then wanted more, grabbing the bag and pulling out three more slices, of which he took random bites out of punctured holes in. He eventually emptied the entire bag onto the bag and then learned that the dog was intrigued by the bag crinkly noise, so tried leaning over the counter to tease Miles even more. Shortly after he eyed the cupboard and ventured over and pulled himself up to look in there, of which he found a bag of Fig Newton's - oh boy!! The excitement on his face was wonderful! He went on to down the bag of Fig Newton's, then a Clif bar, some Animal Crackers and then some Sour Cream and Onion potato not chips things - of which this bag eventually ended up all over him, because it looked like great fun to dump out. I was so glad that he finally ate some food!!! He then got down (I helped) and then he played for a bit and we chased each other around some before I decided it was bedtime again. When I went to lay him down, there wasn't a single peep and he slept for another 9 hours! So, amongst all the fussiness I am grateful for times like that when we can laugh and have fun, because he thought it was the biggest privilege ever to be in the cupboard picking out his food and was so sweet with me!

Enjoying multiple pieces of bread

Oh the joys of a bread bag!

The teasing of Miles

Devouring the Clif Bar

I love how he crouches down like this - a common position

Finding the cupboard with all the goodies and snacks! An exciting moment!

Look Mom! I found the Animal Crackers!

Dumped a whole bag of Rice chip things on him - no real loss, he didn't like anyways.

Sorry these got a little out of order, but I think you get the point :)
